THE ROYAL VISIT 1918

EDINBURGH

King Albert I of Belgium and Queen Elisabeth travelled from London to Edinburgh on sunday, and took up residence at the North British Station Hotel. Sir Charles Cust, Equerry to the King, was in attendance upon their majesties, and other members of the suite were Brig. General the Earl of Athlone and Major A. A. Gordon. The visit was of a purely private character. Their majesties in the morning visit the Castle and other points of interest in the Royal Mile, and the afternoon was spent on a visit to Rosyth. The Royal visitors left for London at 9.40 last night.
